Optical Recirculating Loop System

A recirculating loop enables continuous and controlled circulation of optical signals, emulating long haul transmission with less length of fiber spool. It offers a costeffective, compact, and portable setup that is easy to deploy and transport. The prototype has achieved TRL 6 readiness, marking successful validation in a relevant environment.

Dither Free Modulator Bias Controller

This controller is designed for analog optical links requiring high dynamic range, and for optical single-sideband (SSB) generation and ensures stable, accurate modulator biasing without signal degradation making it a robust choice for advanced photonic communication setups. Tested and validated with input powers as low as –30 dBm. The prototype has achieved TRL 5 readiness, marking successful validation in a relevant environment.

The Multichannel Dither-Free Modulator Bias Controller is designed for advanced analog photonic systems, including cascaded modulator architectures used in frequency comb generation, QKD systems and frequency up-conversion systems employing Mach-Zehnder Modulator (MZMs) and Dual-Parallel Mach-Zehnder Modulator (DPMZMs). The prototype has achieved TRL 5 readiness, marking successful validation in a relevant environment.

High Resolution Optical Power Meter

High Resolution Optical Power Meter

A compact Optical Power Meter has been developed to support precision measurements and automated optical power logging for laboratory and industrial applications. Maximum power is limited by the photodetector and can be adjusted by selecting different detectors, while the minimum power is constrained by the photodetector’s dark current. The mean error has been assessed using a commercial power meter. The prototype has achieved TRL 5 readiness, marking successful validation in a relevant environment.
